    The project is constructing and developing the new AUC campus in Cairo, which spans a 260-acre campus that weaves Egyptian urban and architectural traditions into a modern campus with a distinct emphasis on environmental sustainability. The new campus consists of buildings of classes, theatres, laboratories, a good court, student housing, sports facilities, and a library.
    Project Manager: Fluor International. / Contractor: Joint venture (Samsung-Sam Crete). / Development cost: 400 million US Dollars.
    Responsibilities:
    •Perform a daily Inspection for finished work to ensure compliance with Design Intent, Specifications, and Drawings
    •Attending weekly Technical meetings with contractors, monitoring the delivery of unfinished work
    •Punch listing all campus elements of civil and architectural works and re-inspecting all repairs done by the contractor until satisfactory completion
    •Monitoring Contractors' compliance with approved schedules and propose mitigating measures
    •Monitoring Contractors' implementation to the Construction Safety & HSE programs.

    The Doha city center expansion project P II & P III (A, B) at Doha, State of Qatar
    The project consists of constructing and developing five high-rise towers housing stars, primarily hotel accommodations (45 floors), each of a total area above the podium of 45,000 sq. with a total of 1247 guest rooms/suites and 381 hotel apartments. The podium is seven stories above Ground level (total 124,000 sq.), containing Front and Backhouse facilities, entrances, and rooftop recreation facilities with three Parking basement levels.
    Hotels are named after (Marriot Renaissance, Marriot Courtyard, Shangri-La, Rotana, and Merweb).
    Project Manager: CANSULT-MAUNSELL /AECOM Inc. / The Designer: HOK Canada. / Contractor: AL-HABTOOR. / Development cost: One billion US Dollars.
    Responsibilities:
    •Reviewing architectural shop drawings & coordination MEP, structural, architectural shop drawings & material review process as delegated by the Engineer
    •Daily coordination between different trades for answers on contractor “Request for Information” & resolution of the various site conflicts
    •Attending weekly job site meetings & other technical meeting as set between different consultants, structural, MEP, Food Services, Elevators, Interior designers, landscaping and contractors, and their subcontractors
    •Perform daily field inspections; follow up with mock-up for each different room types
    •Punch listing preparations and monitoring Contractor's progress for de-snagging and attending Architect's comments
