Lead and support the technical office engineers and guiding them

Coordinate with Construction Manager and project control Manager to set an effective work procedure, work priorities and suitable resources allocation

Follow up with the consultant on the project designs to prepare shop drawings and highlight any deviations from code/standards/specifications

Manage technical office team to produce project’s shop drawings in a timely and accurate manner and getting consultant approval

Following up the engineering deliverables schedule and making sure it is in line with the project schedule

Set/Follow up with project consultant the effective cycle of approvals for shop drawing

Review and approve scheduled bill of quantities (BOQ), request for information (RFI) and subcontractors’ invoices

Follow up with the site team to resolve all technical issues arising during construction

Support Planning and Cost Control Department in monitoring monthly construction progress

Support Contract Administrators in preparing any technical/cost claims with sufficient information about any variation orders

Coordinate with QC, QS & Survey departments and provide required data to facilitate construction

Perform periodic performance appraisals for the staff (in coordination with the HR department)
