• Check design drawing validation for any queries.

Project :(CBD: Central Business District at the New Administrative Capital)

Concrete skeleton and steel structure, Phase 1 of the Twin Hotel and Office Towers C09 – C10, the foundation works. The area of the raft was 7500 m2, and it included approx. 14000 m3 Concrete, and 2500 tons of steel reinforcement.

Consultant: ACE Arab Consulting Engineers "Moharram.Bakhoum".

Contractor: El Hazek - Egyptian Union for Construction - Masr Al Jadidah. (Egypt). Value Of Contract : EGP 270 Million.

Location: 6th of October.

• Job Responsibilities:
• Study the project documents including drawings, specifications, BOQ (Bill of Quantity), RFI (Request for information), correspondence…etc., Prepare RFI to send it to the consultant.
• Follow-up and review the shop drawings and the as-built drawings before project closure, and review it with the consultant.
• Follow-up with the subcontractors on all issues related to engineering.
• Investigate technical problems on the site.

Location: New Heliopoles

• Job Responsibilities:

•Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures.
•Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ etc...).
•Prepare shop drawing and coordination drawings (or composite drawing) based on project’s design drawings in accurate with quality standard.
•Coordinate with other trades to solve any conflict between (civil, mech, elect. etc.…).
•Update the shop drawing log before sending the shop drawing to consultant for approvals.
•Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
•Review subcontractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.
•Coordinate with surveying engineer to provide him all the information about land coordinates and any site measurement required.
•Participate in solving / report any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the Technical Office Manager for discussion and proper solve.
•Prepare As-built drawings at the end of the project and hand over to the project consultant.
•Prepare material submittal in conjunction with material to be and approved by the Consultant.
