- Implement site-to-site FlexVPN settings on internet-access CEs, configuring the CEs’ IPsec SVTIs and RADIUS profiles, and corresponding L3VPNs on the hubs
- Coordinate with dispatched FEs and circuit carriers in the migrations’ conference calls to address various issues, and achieve connectivity over the delivered WAN circuits, and manage communication with all attending stakeholders including clients’ IT teams
- Experienced in BGP’s settings and mechanics, such as timers, prefix filtering, PA manipulation, AS override, SOO, and multipath for load sharing across the MPLS core
- Address post-migration asymmetric routing, experienced by customers with dual-homed BGP CEs, and experienced in both load-sharing, and active\passive CE BGP topologies
- Troubleshoot IPsec initiation, authentication, authorization, and attribute assignment within the RADIUS-based AAA environment, using debugging when necessary
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of L3VPN routing to troubleshoot connectivity on the migrated CEs with remote sites of clients' VPNs, central services networks, or to the internet through the shared internet VRF, addressing RTs, BGP filtering, static route redistribution, etc
- Work with many combinations of link types and link-layer protocols; PPP, Frame-relay, and MFR on serial links, copper and fiber Ethernet, as well as PPPoE and PPPoA on DSL WANs
- Preserve CE access in complex operations on CEs using approaches such as setting up floating static routes, and EEM applets, and AAA manipulation for planned TACACs connection outages
- Perform migrations with precision, minimizing down times and achieving consistent customer satisfaction, and first-time success rates averaging at 88% in between appraisal periods
- Wrote guides on topics like AAA, and BFD, and mentored newcomers to the team
