Summary

I have extensive experience in developing a broad range of student activities and leading successful partnerships with other external organisations and the wider community. I feel that the arts, sports and enrichment can transform the future of many young people from all backgrounds. I have many years successful experience in providing strategic Senior leadership for performing and creative arts educational leading providers of quality.

My vision is to create and maintain a diverse, dynamic learning environment which not only challenges the learner but nurtures creative talent and enterprise as well as provide a centre of excellence for all in the community and beyond. This can be tailored to offer students breadth and depth to their individual needs.


I am an experienced Senior leader in Performing Arts, with extensive experience in curriculum development, planning, delivery, assessment and timetabling, within BTEC, IGCSE, A-level and IB Drama and Theatre curriculums. In addition to this, my role has led me to create strong relationships with the community and professional associates.


I am also an experienced A-Level and IB examiner for Drama and the Extended Essay in both Spanish and English languages. My professional experience has led me to showcase my Theatre director work in London's West End and elsewhere.

  • To develop an innovative and progressive curriculum in Performing Arts for the whole school, including securing continuity and progression from the junior school.
  • To lead the successful delivery and results of the IGCSE and IB Performing Arts courses.

  • My role in the school encompassed the Head of Expressive Arts and the Co-Curricular activities coordinator for all expressive arts programs
  • During my time at this start-up school, I have devised and delivered a Performing Arts program and Curriculum from KG upwards
  • In addition, I managed and operated the Auditorium and Arts Facilities within the school, produced many competitions, performances and directed the annual School Musical
  • I have implemented the inclusion of arts facilities and state of the art equipment into department building into what was included in this start up school
  • I managed 4 members of staff within Performing Arts and a further 20 within my co-curriculum coordinator role

  • Developed a new Curriculum for Full-time and Part-time study programmes as well as creating partnerships and liaising with external agencies
  • Created a broad enrichment programme of activities

Accomplishments

    Acted as main consultant on the design of the Arts facilities in the new Hanova International School campus.

    Founded the Arts Co-Curricular Program for the whole of RDFZ Kings College School, Hangzhou.

    Created and founded the Raha whole School Peripatetic music program.

    Organised the Grand Opening of the 600 Seater Auditorium at Raha International School
